Role Description The Assistant Manager Technical Sales Aerospace Chemicals role is a full-time remote position focused on supporting and growing Surventis’ aerospace chemicals business. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing existing customer accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and providing technical guidance on coatings and surface treatment solutions for aerospace applications. The role involves preparing and delivering product presentations, coordinating technical trials, and collaborating closely with R&D, product management, and operations to translate customer requirements into practical solutions. The Assistant Manager will monitor market trends and competitor activity, contribute to pricing and sales strategies, and ensure accurate forecasting and reporting. Regular interaction with global and regional teams, participation in customer visits (virtual and on-site as needed), and adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards are key aspects of the role.
Qualifications
- Strong technical foundation in chemistry, materials science, aerospace engineering, or a related field, supported by a bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in technical sales, account management, or business development within aerospace, chemicals, coatings, or surface treatment industries.
- Ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts, interpret technical specifications, and support product qualification and application processes.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining customer relationships, managing stakeholder expectations, and negotiating commercial terms.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to use data and market insights to support sales strategies and forecasts.
- Effective communication and presentation skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional and multicultural teams.
- Comfort working in a remote environment, with strong self-organization, time management, and digital collaboration skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings, technical trials, trade shows, and internal workshops, as required.
