About the Role
We are looking for an Assistant Manager – Human Resources with a strong focus on Talent Acquisition to manage end-to-end recruitment for Studiokon Ventures and its business verticals.
The role requires a hands-on recruiter who can independently manage multiple open positions, work closely with hiring managers, build strong candidate pipelines, and drive positions from sourcing to joining. The candidate will also support selected HR operations and people initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition
- Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle from manpower requisition to candidate onboarding.
- Understand hiring requirements from business/function heads and convert them into clear recruitment plans.
- Source candidates through Naukri, LinkedIn, employee referrals, job portals, consultants, campus hiring, and other channels.
- Conduct resume screening and initial HR discussions to assess candidate suitability.
- Coordinate technical and managerial interviews with respective stakeholders.
- Manage interview scheduling, candidate follow-ups, feedback collection, and hiring documentation.
- Drive offer discussions, salary negotiations, and offer closures within approved budgets.
- Maintain an active pipeline for critical and recurring positions.
- Ensure timely closure of positions while maintaining quality of hire.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
2. Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with department heads, functional leads, project teams, and management to understand manpower requirements.
- Act as the HR/TA point of contact for assigned business functions.
- Provide regular hiring updates, pipeline reports, and closure timelines to stakeholders.
- Understand business requirements and advise hiring managers on candidate availability, market trends, and compensation expectations.
- Follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely interview feedback and decision-making.
3. Hiring Across Functions
Manage recruitment across a diverse range of functions, including:
- Design & Creative
- Project Management
- Interior Design
- MEP
- Sales & Business Development
- Finance & Accounts
- HR & Administration
- Procurement & Commercial
- Manufacturing / Factory
- Engineering & Technical functions
- Site-level positions
- Corporate and support functions
4. Recruitment Strategy & Employer Branding
- Develop effective sourcing strategies based on the requirements and seniority of positions.
- Identify new and relevant talent pools and sourcing channels.
- Build relationships with recruitment consultants, colleges, and external hiring partners.
- Support campus hiring and fresher recruitment initiatives.
- Assist in strengthening Studiokon's employer brand across LinkedIn and other recruitment platforms.
- Continuously evaluate sourcing channels to improve recruitment efficiency.
5. Recruitment MIS & Analytics
- Maintain accurate recruitment data and candidate records in the ATS/HRMS.
- Prepare regular recruitment MIS and hiring reports.
- Track key recruitment metrics such as:
- Time to Hire
- Time to Fill
- Offer-to-Joining Ratio
- Source Effectiveness
- Hiring Funnel Conversion
- Position Closure Rate
- Monitor ageing positions and proactively work towards closure.
- Identify recruitment bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions.
6. HR Operations & People Initiatives
- Support employee onboarding and induction processes.
- Assist with HR policies, SOPs, and process improvement initiatives.
- Support employee engagement and learning & development initiatives.
- Assist in maintaining employee records and HR documentation.
- Participate in HR projects and other people-related initiatives as required.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Talent Acquisition / Recruitment.
- Excellent sourcing and screening capabilities.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple positions simultaneously.
- Strong negotiation and candidate management skills.
- Good understanding of recruitment metrics and hiring processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets.
- Experience working with ATS/HRMS and recruitment platforms.
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced business environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources will be an added advantage.
- 4-8 years of experience in HR, with significant exposure to Talent Acquisition in the same industry.
- Prior experience in hiring for design, interior, construction, manufacturing, engineering, or project-based organizations will be preferred.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a hands-on TA professional who can independently own hiring, is comfortable dealing with multiple stakeholders and seniority levels, and can work in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change frequently.
The candidate should be result-oriented, proactive, highly organized, and strong at follow-ups, with the ability to take ownership of positions from requirement to joining.
