Role Description The Assistant Manager – Human Resources is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, supporting HR operations across Hyderabad Marriott Hotel & Convention Centre and Courtyard by Marriott. This role includes managing recruitment activities, onboarding processes, and workforce planning to ensure staffing levels align with business needs. The Assistant Manager HR coordinates training and development programs, supports performance management cycles, and assists in employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs. Daily responsibilities also involve handling employee relations, maintaining HR records, supporting payroll and benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with company policies and local labor regulations. The role collaborates closely with department heads and the HR leadership team to foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture aligned with Marriott’s service standards.

- Candidates should possess skills in recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning to support staffing and talent acquisition needs.
- Candidates should possess skills in training coordination, performance management support, and employee development initiatives.
- Candidates should possess skills in employee relations, conflict resolution, and fostering an inclusive and respectful work environment.
- Candidates should possess skills in HR documentation, HRIS usage, data accuracy, and basic payroll and benefits administration.
- Candidates should possess strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
- Relevant experience in hotel or hospitality HR operations is highly beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, along with knowledge of local labor laws and HR best practices, is preferred.
