Role Description The Assistant Manager role at Maruti Ispat & Pipes Pvt. Ltd. is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The Assistant Manager will support day-to-day operations in their assigned department, including planning and coordinating activities, monitoring process performance, and ensuring adherence to company policies and safety standards. The role involves supervising team members, tracking key performance indicators, preparing reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and improve efficiency. The Assistant Manager will contribute to workflow optimization, assist in implementing process improvements, and help maintain quality, cost, and timeline targets. The position also requires regular communication with senior management, vendors, and internal stakeholders to support smooth and effective plant operations.
Qualifications
- Strong operational and process management abilities, including experience in production planning, workflow coordination, and performance monitoring.
- Demonstrated supervisory skills, with the ability to guide teams, delegate tasks, and support a safe, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, including the use of spreadsheets or ERP tools to track metrics and prepare operational summaries for management.
- Knowledge of manufacturing or heavy industry practices, preferably in steel or related sectors, with familiarity in quality standards and safety regulations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders at different organizational levels.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and cost-effective solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; relevant postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad, adapt to a fast-paced industrial environment, and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
