Role Description The Assistant Manager role at Delhi Tourism is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. The Assistant Manager will support day-to-day operations, including coordinating tour schedules, managing bookings, and ensuring smooth execution of tourism services. This role involves supervising staff, monitoring service quality, and addressing visitor inquiries and feedback. The Assistant Manager will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to promote tourism packages, assist in marketing initiatives, and help implement customer service standards. The role also includes preparing reports, maintaining documentation, and contributing to process improvements to enhance overall efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in tourism, hospitality, travel management, or a related service industry.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage schedules, bookings, and on-site operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with visitors, staff, and external partners.
- Basic knowledge of tourism marketing, customer service best practices, and local attractions in and around Delhi.
- Ability to work on-site full time, handle multiple tasks, and respond promptly to operational issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Comfort with using office productivity tools and reservation or booking systems.
- Fluency in English and Hindi; additional regional languages are an advantage.
