Role Description The Assistant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at the Arise Hyundai Batamaloo dealership in Srinagar. This role supports daily operations across sales, service, and customer experience, ensuring that dealership processes run smoothly and efficiently. Key responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating schedules, monitoring performance, and assisting with the implementation of company policies and promotions. The Assistant Manager helps resolve customer issues, oversees documentation and reporting, and supports inventory and showroom management. The role also involves collaborating with senior management to meet business targets, maintain compliance with brand standards, and promote a safe, inclusive workplace.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills, with the ability to guide, motivate, and support diverse staff members.
- Customer service and relationship management skills, including conflict resolution and a focus on positive client experiences.
- Operational and organizational skills for handling schedules, documentation, inventory tracking, and day-to-day dealership workflows.
- Sales and basic business acumen, with comfort working toward targets and supporting promotional activities.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
- Proficiency with common office software and basic data entry; familiarity with automotive or dealership management systems is an advantage.
- Prior experience in retail, automotive, or service-focused environments at a supervisory level is preferred.
- Relevant diploma or degree in business, management, or a related field is beneficial, though equivalent experience may be considered.
- Ability to work on-site full time in Srinagar, maintain professional conduct, and support an inclusive, non-discriminatory work culture.
