Role Description The Assistant Manager – Administration, Operations, Membership and Programs is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day administrative activities, supporting operational processes, and coordinating membership services to ensure accurate records, timely renewals, and effective member engagement. The role includes planning and executing events and programs, liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders, and supporting logistics for conferences, workshops, and meetings. The Assistant Manager will help prepare reports, maintain documentation, manage communication with members and partners, and contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and service quality. The role requires proactive coordination, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through to support SAEINDIA’s mission and activities.
Qualifications
- Strong administrative and operations management skills, including scheduling, documentation, and process coordination.
- Experience in membership services or customer relationship management, with the ability to handle member queries and maintain accurate databases.
- Program and event management capabilities, such as planning, logistics coordination, vendor management, and on-site support.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication, with skills in drafting emails, reports, and presentations.
- Competence with office productivity tools and software (e.g., MS Office, spreadsheets, presentation tools; experience with CRM or membership platforms is an advantage).
- Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, work independently, and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in management, administration, engineering, or a related field; experience in professional societies, associations, or the mobility/transportation sector is beneficial.
- High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to inclusive, ethical, and non-discriminatory practices.
