This role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to both transactional and litigation work, ensuring a well-rounded legal experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting, reviewing, and vetting a wide range of legal documents including NDAs, MoUs, commercial contracts, franchise agreements, and transaction documents
- Assisting in structuring transactions and suggesting risk-mitigated contractual positions
- Conducting legal research, case law analysis, and regulatory review
- Assisting in litigation matters, including: Drafting legal notices, pleadings, affidavits, and written submissions; Supporting in case strategy, briefing, and documentation; Attending court or arbitration proceedings (where required) and assisting with filings.
- Supporting in dispute strategy and pre-litigation advisory
- Assisting in negotiation support and redlining of agreements
- Evaluating legal and commercial risks and suggesting practical solutions
The position is based in Prayagraj, and candidates based in Prayagraj will be preferred.
Qualifications
- LL.B. or 5 year Integrated LL.B
- 0–2 years of relevant experience (professional experience in litigation, corporate, or dispute resolution)
- Strong understanding of contract law, civil, criminal and commercial litigation, and dispute resolution
- Proficiency in legal drafting, including contracts and pleadings
- Ability to analyze legal issues from both litigation and commercial perspectives
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
