Role Description The Articled Assistant will work full time on-site at the Jaipur head office, supporting audit, accounting, and taxation engagements under the guidance of senior professionals. Daily responsibilities include assisting in statutory and tax audits, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and supporting bookkeeping and ledger maintenance for corporate and other clients. The role involves working on direct and indirect tax computations, return filings, and documentation for assessments and appeals. The Articled Assistant will help with compliance-related filings, secretarial documentation, and preparation of working papers and reports for client presentations. The position offers hands-on exposure to corporate, trust, and individual clients, requiring diligence in documentation, adherence to professional standards, and collaboration with the wider team.
Qualifications
- Candidates should be registered as CA Articles/Articled Assistants with ICAI (or eligible to register) and preferably have completed relevant CA Foundation/Intermediate examinations.
- Should possess skills in accounting and bookkeeping, including understanding of financial statements, ledgers, and basic financial analysis.
- Should possess skills in taxation, including working knowledge of income tax, GST, and corporate tax compliance and documentation.
- Should possess skills in audit and assurance, including preparation of working papers, vouching, verification, and adherence to auditing standards.
- Should possess skills in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic familiarity with accounting and tax software.
- Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and capability to work with numerical data with accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Jaipur, manage deadlines, and collaborate in a professional team environment with integrity and confidentiality.
