Role Description The Articled Assistant will be engaged in day-to-day audit and assurance assignments, including vouching, verification of financial records, documentation, and preparation of working papers under the supervision of senior team members. Responsibilities include supporting tax compliance and advisory work, assisting in the preparation of financial statements, managing statutory and internal audit schedules, and maintaining accurate records and files. The role involves conducting research on accounting, tax, and regulatory matters, preparing reports and summaries for client engagements, and contributing to consulting and corporate restructuring projects as needed. The Articled Assistant will collaborate closely with partners and managers, adhere to professional standards, and participate in learning and training activities. This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and basic taxation concepts.
- Candidates should possess skills in financial analysis, report preparation, and documentation of audit working papers.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in MS Excel, word processing, and basic accounting or ERP software.
- Candidates should possess effective communication, teamwork, and client-interaction skills.
- Candidates should possess attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a disciplined approach to meeting deadlines.
- Registered CA article trainee or eligibility under the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) requirements is required.
- Commitment to professional ethics, willingness to learn, and openness to working across multiple service lines are expected.
