Role Description The Article Trainee CA will work full time on-site at the Delhi office, supporting client engagements across startups and SMEs. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with bookkeeping, preparation of financial statements, working papers, and reconciliations, as well as supporting tax and regulatory compliance filings. The role involves contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis under the guidance of senior team members, and helping prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for clients. The trainee will participate in audit support activities, documentation of processes, and implementation of financial automation tools where applicable. This position offers hands-on exposure to Virtual CFO services and startup finance, with structured learning and mentorship from experienced professionals.
Qualifications
- Candidates should be pursuing Chartered Accountancy (CA) and be eligible for articleship as per ICAI guidelines.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and basic taxation concepts.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting or ERP software; exposure to financial reporting tools is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, startup-focused environment and manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
- Interest in startup finance, Virtual CFO services, and financial planning; prior internship experience in audit, taxation, or accounting is beneficial.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and willingness to learn and take initiative.
