Role Overview :
Sthyra Studios is looking for a skilled 3D Modeler specializing in Architectural Visualization who can translate architectural drawings and design concepts into accurate, detailed, and production-ready 3D environments.The role focuses on creating high-quality architectural models while maintaining accuracy, clean geometry, organized scenes, and optimized workflows for visualization and real-time rendering.
Core Responsibilities :
- Create accurate architectural 3D models from CAD and design drawings.
- Model interiors, exteriors, furniture, architectural details, and custom elements.
- Interpret CAD drawings, floor plans, elevations, and sections accurately.
- Maintain clean and organized 3ds Max scenes.
- Ensure accurate proportions and clean geometry throughout the modeling process.
- Prepare models for V-Ray, Chaos Vantage, and D5 Render visualization pipelines.
- Optimize models for visualization and real-time workflows.
- Coordinate with lighting and environment artists.
- Maintain accuracy and quality while meeting production deadlines.
Education Requirements:
- Strong professional experience in 3D architectural modeling.
- Strong architectural and interior modeling experience.
- Experience translating architectural drawings and design concepts into 3D models.
- Experience working with CAD drawings, floor plans, elevations, and sections.
- Experience modeling interiors, exteriors, furniture, architectural details, and custom elements.
- Experience preparing production-ready models for architectural visualization.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating architectural modeling quality and accuracy is mandatory.
Technical Skills:
- 3ds Max - Strong expertise required.
- V-Ray - Familiarity with visualization workflows.
- Chaos Vantage - Familiarity with visualization workflows.
- D5 Render - Familiarity with visualization workflows.
- Strong architectural and interior modeling skills.
- Ability to interpret CAD drawings, floor plans, elevations, and sections.
- Strong understanding of clean geometry and accurate proportions.
- Strong scene organization skills.
- Ability to optimize models for visualization and real-time workflows.
Creative & Professional Skills:
- Strong attention to architectural accuracy and detail.
- Ability to translate 2D drawings into accurate 3D environments.
- Good understanding of proportions and spatial relationships.
- Ability to maintain organized production workflows.
- Ability to collaborate with lighting and environment artists.
- Ability to maintain quality while meeting production deadlines.
