Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced AS400 / IBM i Developer with strong hands-on experience in ILE RPG, Free Format RPGLE, COBOL, DB2, Web Services, and application modernization. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with exposure to Azure.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and modernize applications on AS400 / IBM i.
- Work extensively with ILE concepts and Free Format RPGLE.
- Develop and support applications using RPGLE, COBOL, and DB2.
- Develop and integrate Web Services with existing AS400 applications.
- Support application modernization initiatives and migration activities.
- Analyze existing legacy applications and identify modernization opportunities.
- Troubleshoot application and database issues.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to deliver solutions.
- Apply Azure capabilities as part of application modernization initiatives.
- Provide technical documentation and production support as required.
