Key Responsibilities:
- Provide CNC application support, programming, and job prove-out for COSMOS CNC machines (VMC, VTL, turn-mill, 3+2/5-axis).
- Develop and optimize CNC programs using CAM software (PowerMill, NX, Mastercam, Fusion 360, etc.).
- Conduct machine trials, cutting demonstrations, customer training, and process optimization.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and provide on-site/remote technical support.
- Recommend tooling, fixtures, and machining strategies to improve productivity.
- Experience in turbine blade machining and impeller machining projects
- Ability to develop machining strategies, prove-out programs, and support customer applications
Requirements:
- 6+ years of CNC programming and applications experience.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining, CAM software, cutting tools, and cycle time optimization.
- Good customer handling and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites.
