Job details:
We are looking for a passionate Robotics & ROS2 Intern to work on real-world autonomous robots, AMRs, robotic manipulation, perception, navigation, simulation and AI/ML systems.
The candidate will work with experienced robotics engineers and gain hands-on exposure to the complete robotics stack — from sensors and embedded systems to ROS2, perception, SLAM, navigation, planning, control and actuation.
You will be given a certificate of internship for the projects you will do.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate robotics applications using ROS2, Python and C++.
- Work with ROS2 architecture including nodes, topics, services, actions, parameters, TF2, launch and lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain ROS2 packages and robotics software modules.
- Work on SLAM, localization, mapping, path planning, navigation and obstacle avoidance.
- Configure and integrate Nav2 for autonomous mobile robots.
- Integrate LiDAR, depth cameras, stereo cameras, IMUs and other sensors.
- Work on computer vision, 3D point-cloud processing and sensor fusion.
- Assist with robot kinematics, dynamics, motion planning and control algorithms.
- Work with mobile robots, AMRs, robotic arms and collaborative robots (cobots).
- Assist with trajectory planning and end-effector integration.
- Develop and test robotic systems using Gazebo, NVIDIA Isaac Sim, Omniverse, Webots or MuJoCo.
- Explore AI/ML applications including machine learning, deep learning, computer vision and reinforcement learning.
- Support deployment of AI models on embedded and edge-computing platforms.
- Work with platforms such as Raspberry Pi, NVIDIA Jetson and STM32.
- Participate in robot testing, debugging, system integration, POCs and technical demonstrations.
- Follow software engineering practices including Git, modular design, testing, documentation and CI/CD.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, electronics, embedded and software engineering teams.
