Job details:
Location: Remote
Type: Full-time
Commitment: Looking for someone excited to go all-in for the next 12 months
Reporting directly to: Founder
About the Role
I’m looking for an AI Engineer who is equal parts builder, problem-solver, and hustler.
This isn’t a typical engineering role where you’ll spend the next year maintaining one product or working through a predefined backlog.
You’ll work directly with me across multiple live projects, experiments, client businesses, automations, and potentially a new startup that we build from scratch.
The goal is simple: use AI, code, automation, and speed to build things that would normally require much larger teams.
Over the next 12 months, I want to experiment aggressively, ship fast, work on real businesses, and ideally build something crazy enough to turn into a serious company.
I’m looking for someone who finds that exciting.
What You'll Work On
Your work could change week to week, but some of the core areas will include:
- Building AI agents for real business workflows and internal operations
- Creating and improving Claude Skills
- Building dashboards, tools, and workflows around Claude
- Creating AI-powered automations across different businesses
- Working with Klaviyo, including customer segmentation, lists, campaign data, and automation workflows
- Working with Shopify websites, storefronts, integrations, APIs, and operational tooling
- Connecting different tools, APIs, databases, and AI models together
- Rapidly prototyping internal tools and MVPs
- Automating repetitive workflows that currently require manual work
- Experimenting with new AI products, frameworks, models, and tools
- Helping turn vague ideas into working products quickly
- Eventually working alongside me to build and launch a startup from zero
Some weeks you might build an AI agent.
Another week, you could be fixing a Shopify workflow, building a Klaviyo segmentation system, creating a dashboard, integrating APIs, or prototyping an entirely new product.
You need to enjoy that level of variety.
Who I'm Looking For
I care much more about how you think and how fast you learn than your degrees or years of experience.
You’ll probably be a great fit if:
- You are obsessed with AI and constantly experiment with new tools
- You have actually built things using LLMs, not just watched tutorials about them
- You can work with APIs and figure out unfamiliar systems quickly
- You are comfortable writing code and shipping functional products
- You understand concepts like agents, tool calling, structured outputs, RAG, APIs, webhooks, databases, and automation
- You are comfortable using AI coding tools heavily
- You can take an unclear problem and independently figure out a solution
- You don't need detailed instructions for every task
- You move fast and prefer shipping something today over discussing it for two weeks
- You're resourceful — when you don't know something, your instinct is to figure it out
- You're comfortable switching between technical problems and business problems
- You want responsibility early
- You genuinely want to build things
Experience with Claude, Shopify, Klaviyo, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, APIs, automation platforms, databases, or modern web development is a strong plus.
But again, I care more about whether you can figure things out and execute.
The Kind of Person I Want
I’m specifically looking for someone with a builder mentality.
Someone who sees a new AI tool launch and immediately wants to test what can be built with it.
Someone who can receive a message like:
“Can we build an agent that does this?”
…and instead of waiting for a detailed PRD, starts researching, prototypes something, tests it, and comes back with a working version.
You should be ambitious, curious, slightly impatient, and comfortable with uncertainty.
There will be changing priorities.
There will be experiments that fail.
There will be things neither of us knows how to build yet.
That is part of the job.
If you're looking for a highly structured corporate environment with narrowly defined responsibilities, this probably won't be the right role.
If you want to compress a few years of learning into the next 12 months by building constantly, it might be.
About Me
I’ve previously been a founder.
I raised approximately ₹1.5 crore, built a company and a team of roughly 30 employees, and went through the full journey of building a business.
Today, I work independently across a few projects and businesses while preparing to start something of my own again.
I have a lot of ideas I want to test, businesses I want to improve using AI, and products I want to build.
You’ll work directly with me, not through layers of management.
The broader ambition is that while we work on existing projects, we also experiment with startup ideas on the side and hopefully find something worth going extremely deep on.
What You'll Get
This role will give you exposure to:
- Real businesses and real customers
- AI products and agents being used in production
- E-commerce and D2C businesses
- Shopify and Klaviyo ecosystems
- Rapid product development
- Startup experimentation
- Working directly with a former founder
- Building products from idea → prototype → launch
- A high degree of ownership and autonomy
Most importantly, you'll get the opportunity to build a lot.
Working Style
This is a fully remote, full-time role.
I don't care about looking busy.
I care about:
Ownership. Speed. Reliability. Curiosity. Output.
You'll have a lot of freedom, but that freedom comes with responsibility.
If something is assigned to you, I should be able to trust that you'll either figure it out or proactively tell me what's blocking you.
This Role Is NOT For You If
- You need extremely detailed instructions before starting
- You only want to work on one technology or one type of problem
- You dislike rapidly changing priorities
- You prefer meetings over building
- You aren't actively experimenting with AI tools
- You want a predictable 9-to-5 role with a fixed backlog
- You wait for someone else to solve blockers for you
This Role IS For You If
You read this and thought:
“Give me access, tell me the problem, and I'll figure it out.”
That’s exactly the person I’m looking for.

- A short introduction about yourself
- Links to your GitHub, portfolio, LinkedIn, or anything you've built
- 3 things you've built using AI
- The most interesting AI agent, automation, or tool you've created
- Your current favourite AI coding stack/tools
- A short answer to:
If you joined tomorrow and had one week to build something using AI that could save a business 20+ hours per week, what would you build and how would you approach it?
Bonus points if, instead of only sending a CV, you build something small and show me.
