Role Description The Admissions Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India, responsible for supporting prospective learners and families throughout the admissions journey. The role includes responding to inquiries, conducting counseling sessions, explaining course offerings and program structures, and guiding applicants on eligibility, documentation, and enrollment processes. The Admissions Officer will manage application data, maintain accurate records in internal systems, and coordinate with academic, operations, and finance teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience. The role also involves participating in admission events, seminars, and school outreach activities, following up with leads, and meeting admissions and conversion targets while maintaining high standards of customer service. The Admissions Officer is expected to represent AESL professionally, uphold the “Student First” approach, and contribute feedback to improve admissions processes and student experience.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities to effectively support students and families.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear spoken and written communication in English and relevant local languages.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of the Education sector, particularly test preparation for NEET, JEE, and other competitive exams, or demonstrate the ability to learn these quickly.
- Candidates should possess exposure to International Admissions processes or cross-border education counseling (preferred but not mandatory).
- Additional beneficial qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Education, Management, Counseling, or a related field; experience in admissions, counseling, or front-office roles; proficiency with CRM or admissions management software; strong organizational and time-management skills; and the ability to work towards targets in a fast-paced environment.
