Job Title: Accounts Receivable (AR) AnalystLocationKochi / Thane, India (Hybrid/Work from Office as applicable)
ExperienceMinimum 4 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably in US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).
Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts Receivable (AR) Analyst to join our Revenue Cycle Management team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing insurance and patient receivables, resolving denied claims, following up with insurance payers, and driving timely collections. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of the US healthcare billing and reimbursement process.
Key Responsibilities· Manage assigned AR portfolios to ensure timely reimbursement and achieve collection targets.
· Analyze aging reports and prioritize accounts requiring immediate attention.
· Follow up with commercial insurance companies, Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care payers regarding unpaid or underpaid claims.
· Investigate claim denials, identify root causes, and initiate corrective actions.
· Prepare and submit appeals with appropriate supporting documentation.
· Resolve claim rejections related to eligibility, authorization, coding, timely filing, coordination of benefits (COB), and medical necessity.
· Process adjustments, write-offs, refunds, and payment postings when required and in accordance with company policies.
· Collaborate with Billing, Credentialing, Authorization, and Clinical teams to resolve outstanding issues affecting reimbursement.
· Monitor payer trends and recommend process improvements to reduce AR aging and denials.
· Maintain accurate documentation of account activities in the billing system.
· Meet established productivity, quality, and collection KPIs.
· Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all applicable healthcare regulations.
· Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on AR performance and collections.
Required Qualifications· Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
· Minimum 4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable within US Healthcare RCM.
· Strong understanding of:
o Medical billing and claims lifecycle
o EOBs and ERAs
o CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes
o Insurance verification and payer guidelines
o Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance processes
· Experience handling denial management and appeals.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
· Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications· Experience with ABA, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Pediatric healthcare billing.
· Exposure to EMR/EHR and practice management systems such as Ensora, CentralReach, Office Ally, Kareo, or similar platforms.
· Knowledge of credentialing and authorization workflows.
· Experience working with California Medicaid (Medi-Cal) and commercial payers is an added advantage.

Compensation
· Fixed compensation – 40-45k per month
