Role Description The Accounts Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Patna Area. The Accounts Executive will manage day-to-day accounting activities, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, preparing invoices, and reconciling bank statements. The role involves supporting month-end and year-end close processes, assisting with GST and other statutory compliance, and preparing basic financial reports for management review. The Accounts Executive will collaborate with operations and logistics teams to verify billing, address discrepancies, and ensure accurate documentation of expenses and revenue. The position also includes responding to vendor and client queries, maintaining organized records, and using accounting software to support efficient financial operations.
Qualifications
- Ability to handle core accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, ledger management, and bank reconciliation.
- Experience with invoicing, billing, and accounts receivable/payable processes.
- Familiarity with Indian taxation and statutory compliance (e.g., GST, TDS) is beneficial.
- Proficiency in accounting software (such as Tally, Zoho, or similar) and basic MS Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Patna Area and collaborate in a logistics-focused environment.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field preferred, along with prior experience in an accounts role; exposure to logistics or transportation sectors is an advantage.
