Role Description The Accounts and Audit Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat. candidates willing to work from this location. The role involves preparing and reviewing financial statements, assisting in statutory and internal audits, and supporting the preparation of detailed audit reports. Day-to-day responsibilities include verifying accounting entries, reconciling ledgers, ensuring accuracy and compliance in GST and other tax-related filings, and supporting finance-related documentation and reporting. The Accounts and Audit Executive collaborates closely with senior team members to analyze financial data, identify variances, and recommend process improvements, while maintaining organized records and adhering to firm policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance and Financial Statements, with the ability to interpret, prepare, and review key financial documents.
- Hands-on experience in Audit Reports, including support in statutory, internal, and compliance audits.
- Working knowledge of Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations and practical experience in GST accounting, returns, and reconciliations.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills to assess financial data, identify discrepancies, and propose corrective actions.
- Relevant academic background such as a degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Ability to work on-site in Surat, manage deadlines, and collaborate effectively within a professional team environment.
- Prior experience in audit or accounting firms and familiarity with Indian accounting standards and tax laws is an advantage.
