Role Description The Accountant role at RadiantBiz Management Consultancy is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi, India. The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, preparing invoices, and reconciling accounts. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements and reports, supporting tax computations, assisting with GST/VAT-related documentation, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations. The role involves coordinating with internal teams and external partners, supporting audits, monitoring cash flows, and contributing to accurate budgeting and financial planning. The Accountant is expected to maintain organized records, ensure timely reporting, and support continuous improvement in accounting processes and controls.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in core accounting activities such as general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.
- Knowledge of Indian accounting standards, tax regulations, GST/VAT compliance, and familiarity with audit support and statutory filings.
- Experience using accounting software and MS Office tools (especially Excel) for data analysis, reporting, and documentation.
- Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and ability to work with large volumes of financial data accurately and efficiently.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA/CPA/CMA or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a consultancy, financial services, or professional services environment is preferred.
