Role Description The Accountant role at Divine System and Solutions is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial activities, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing financial statements and reports. Responsibilities include handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, monitoring expenses, and ensuring timely invoicing and payments. The role involves supporting month-end and year-end closing processes, assisting with budgeting, and ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations. The Accountant will collaborate with internal teams, respond to audit queries, and help improve financial controls and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.
- Proficiency in accounting software (such as Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Excel.
- Understanding of Indian taxation, GST, TDS, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
