Role Description The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing accurate financial statements and reports. Responsibilities include handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, assisting with budgeting, and monitoring cash flow. The role also involves ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls, as well as supporting audits and providing financial analysis to management. This is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi, requiring close collaboration with internal teams and timely completion of accounting tasks.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in financial accounting, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.
- Proficiency in accounts payable and receivable processes, bank reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring.
- Experience with budgeting, financial analysis, and variance reporting to support business decisions.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and other applicable tax and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably within a corporate or service-oriented environment.
