Role Description The Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bijnor. The role involves managing day-to-day financial transactions, including bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and reconciliation of accounts. The Accountant will prepare and review invoices, handle accounts payable and receivable, monitor cash flows, and assist with monthly and annual financial statements. The role includes ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations, supporting internal and external audits, and maintaining accurate documentation. The Accountant will collaborate with operations and management teams to provide financial insights for decision-making and cost control.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, including data entry, reconciliation, and basic analysis.
- Experience with accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, payroll support, and inventory-related accounting.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in record-keeping, and ability to meet reporting deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant educational background such as a degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, paper, or forest products industry is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Bijnor and maintain professional integrity and confidentiality.
