Role Description The Accountant at Design Kaksh will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and preparing financial statements. Typical responsibilities include handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, monitoring cash flow, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. The role also involves ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls, as well as preparing reports for management review. The Accountant will collaborate with internal teams to provide accurate financial data and support decision-making. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring.
- Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel, including use of formulas and basic data analysis.
- Understanding of tax laws, statutory compliance, and audit processes relevant to business operations.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and time management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a comparable accounting or finance role is preferred.
