Role Description The Account Manager role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Chennai, with a mix of on-site client visits and some work-from-home flexibility. The Account Manager will manage key client relationships, oversee project accounts, and ensure that client expectations are met throughout the flooring project lifecycle. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with project teams, tracking project progress and budgets, preparing proposals and quotations, and handling client communications and issue resolution. The role also involves identifying opportunities to expand business with existing clients, supporting new business development efforts, and maintaining accurate records in CRM or other reporting tools. The Account Manager will collaborate closely with operations, finance, and technical teams to ensure timely delivery, quality service, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Client relationship and account management skills, including experience handling multiple projects or customers simultaneously.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to interact effectively with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders.
- Basic understanding of construction, industrial flooring, or infrastructure projects, with the ability to learn technical concepts quickly.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and regular reporting and documentation practices.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Chennai, manage field visits, and coordinate with on-site project teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; relevant industry experience is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment and a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service.
