Role Description The Account Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Malappuram. The individual in this position will manage and grow relationships with wholesale and retail customers, including handling inquiries, preparing quotations, and processing orders. Day-to-day tasks include tracking sales performance, following up on leads, coordinating with the showroom and warehouse teams, and ensuring timely delivery of products. The Account Executive will maintain accurate records of customer interactions, address service or product concerns, and identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell across Vixmart’s product range. The role also involves assisting with basic reporting, supporting promotional activities, and contributing to a positive and professional customer experience.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage customer relationships and collaborate with internal teams.
- Sales and account management abilities, including lead follow-up, negotiation, and basic revenue tracking.
- Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple accounts, orders, and follow-ups efficiently.
- Basic proficiency with office software (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing) and comfort using sales or inventory tools.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues and ensure accurate documentation.
- Previous experience in wholesale, retail, FMCG, or household goods distribution is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Malappuram and maintain a professional, customer-focused demeanor.
- Minimum educational qualification: higher secondary or bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, or a related field preferred.
