We are looking for an experienced Academic Coordinator who can build strong relationships with higher education institutions, promote skill development initiatives, and coordinate the successful implementation of training programs across colleges and universities.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit colleges, universities, and educational institutions to introduce and promote VocSkill's skill development programs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Principals, Directors, Deans, Heads of Departments (HODs), Training & Placement Officers (TPOs), and other academic stakeholders.
- Present and explain skill development programs, certification courses, government initiatives, and industry partnerships to institutional decision-makers.
- Coordinate with colleges to plan and execute training programs, workshops, seminars, faculty development programs, and student engagement activities.
- Act as the primary point of contact between VocSkill and partner institutions.
- Work closely with the Business Development and Operations teams to onboard new colleges and ensure the smooth execution of academic programs.
- Coordinate with trainers and faculty members for scheduling classes, managing timetables, and ensuring timely program delivery.
- Monitor student enrolment, attendance, academic progress, and course completion.
- Ensure all academic documentation, reports, assessments, and certifications are completed accurately and on time.
- Gather feedback from colleges, faculty, and students to continuously improve program quality.
- Represent VocSkill at educational events, conferences, and institutional meetings.
- Support the expansion of VocSkill's academic partnerships across Maharashtra and other regions.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience interacting with Principals, Directors, HODs, TPOs, and senior academic leadership.
- Ability to confidently present educational programs and build institutional partnerships.
- Strong planning, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Willingness to travel extensively to colleges and universities.
- Ability to work independently and achieve institutional outreach targets.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline. A postgraduate degree is preferred.
- Prior experience in college outreach, academic coordination, institutional relations, campus engagement, admissions, business development, or skill development programs is preferred.
- Experience working with colleges, universities, EdTech companies, training providers, or educational institutions is highly desirable.
- Candidates with an existing network within colleges and higher education institutions will have an added advantage.
