Academic Coordinator-cum-Examination In-Charge
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate academic calendars, class schedules, faculty allocation and semester activities.
* Monitor student attendance, academic progress, internal assessments and completion of course requirements.
* Coordinate with faculty members, students, department heads and university management.
* Maintain accurate student, faculty, academic and examination records.
* Plan and conduct internal, semester, supplementary and re-examinations.
* Prepare examination schedules, seating arrangements and invigilation duties.
* Coordinate question-paper setting, moderation, printing and secure storage.
* Ensure complete confidentiality and security throughout the examination process.
* Manage answer-sheet evaluation, marks verification, result preparation and declaration.
* Handle rechecking, revaluation, backlog examinations and unfair-means cases.
* Prepare transcripts, grade sheets, examination reports and audit documentation.
* Support accreditation and regulatory compliance relating to UGC, NAAC, NBA and AICTE.
* Assist with the preparation of accreditation reports, institutional data and supporting evidence.
* Coordinate with departments for academic audits, inspections and accreditation visits.
* Monitor regulatory deadlines and ensure the timely submission of required reports.
* Maintain knowledge of NIRF, AISHE, IQAC, Academic Bank of Credits, National Academic Depository and the National Education Policy.
Qualifications and Experience
* Master’s degree from a recognised university.
* Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in academic administration, examination management or accreditation.
* Previous experience with an Indian university, college or higher-education institution is preferred.
* Practical knowledge of UGC regulations and NAAC accreditation procedures.
* Familiarity with examination-management software, student-information systems or ERP platforms is desirable.
Required Skills
* Strong academic and examination administration capabilities.
* Excellent documentation, reporting and record-management skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple departments and stakeholders.
* High level of integrity, confidentiality and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and meet strict academic and regulatory deadlines.
