Role Description This is a full-time Abacus and Vedic Maths Trainer role based in Faridabad, structured as a hybrid position with a combination of on-site teaching and some work-from-home tasks. The trainer will plan and deliver engaging Abacus and Vedic math lessons to school-age learners, ensuring that concepts are taught clearly and progressively. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and practice materials, conducting classroom and online sessions, assessing student performance, and providing constructive feedback to learners and families. The trainer will also contribute to curriculum development for mental math programs, maintain accurate student records, and collaborate with the academy’s teaching team to continuously improve learning outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Mathematics and Mathematics Education, with the ability to explain concepts in a clear, age-appropriate manner.
- Demonstrated experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development for Abacus, Vedic maths, or related mental math programs.
- Background as a Qualified Teacher or trainer, preferably with experience working with children or young learners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
- Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a learner-centered teaching approach.
- Ability to use digital tools for online or hybrid instruction, including basic familiarity with video conferencing and learning platforms.
- Patience, attention to detail, and a commitment to fostering students’ confidence and interest in mathematics.
- Prior experience teaching Abacus or Vedic maths is highly desirable but not mandatory; willingness to undergo training is an asset.
