Role Description The Academics Trainer–English is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role involves conducting training sessions and workshops for English teachers and school staff on Next Education’s curricula, teaching methodologies, and digital platforms. The trainer will demonstrate best practices in English language teaching, support implementation of products in classrooms, and provide ongoing academic guidance through school visits, class observations, and feedback sessions. Responsibilities include planning training content, creating supporting materials, addressing educator queries, and documenting training outcomes and improvement plans. The role also requires close collaboration with academic, product, and sales teams to ensure effective curriculum adoption and learner-centric outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong English language expertise, with skills in grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and spoken communication.
- Experience in classroom teaching, teacher training, or academic mentoring in the K–12 segment, preferably in English.
- Ability to design and deliver engaging training sessions, workshops, and demonstrations for diverse educator audiences.
- Comfort with educational technology and digital platforms, including LMS tools, interactive content, and basic MS Office.
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and handle queries on-site.
- Strong planning, time management, and documentation skills to coordinate visits, prepare reports, and track training effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field; a formal teaching qualification is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel to partner schools within and around Ahmedabad as required.
- Knowledge of CBSE, ICSE, or state board English curricula and contemporary pedagogy is highly beneficial.
