Title:
• 3DEXPERIENCE Infrastructure Architect – PLM & Cloud Systems
Roles & Responsibilities
• Understand customer IT Landscape, define & propose a sustainable 3DEXPERIENCE
platform Infrastructure
• Installation and Administration of 3DExperinece Platform (All Services)
• Troubleshoot and fix the installation issues, failed installations / deployments
• Validate technical prerequisites (software/hardware) in the customer’s environment
• Experience in upgrade and migrating customer's PLM information system
• Customer Infrastructure Audit and propose solution regarding the main customer
operational issues.
• Tuning/configuration of DS products and related key software component such as
Operating System, Databases, and application and web servers.
• Capitalize on project deliverables to ensure reusability, perform assessment and
recommendations for PLM infrastructure design, PCS tuning and monitoring
• Define and lead performance scalability and testing projects
• Implement Load balancing (F5 / HAProxy)
• Guide and mentor other Infrastructure consultants
• Implement DS Best Practices at customers environment
• Define the server Architecture/Sizing as per customer requirements and using the same,
help consultants to install & configure various suite of Dassault Systèmes products and
environments.
• Work with the Solution Architect, to bring technical architecture expertise and
recommendations on customer projects, through our Value Engagement Framework
• Drive the hardware/network/infrastructure assessment / sizing discussions
• Design and document the technical integration of DS solutions within the customer's
current information system by leveraging architectural design methods, patterns and
best practices
• Ensure that the design and the deployment of the technical solution are aligned with the
Security, the SLA and the Performance, the Scalability, the Capacity expectations of the
Customer
• Provide support during the deployment and/or production stage
• Share expertise with customer on change management regarding infrastructure
processes
• Contribute to answer Request for Information / Request for Proposal
• Contribute to the definition of the Statement of Work (SOW)
• Knowledge of all 3DS technologies, brands and their integration
Mandatory Skills
• 3DExperinece Platform Installation and Administration
• Build and Deployment of 3DExperinece Platform configurations, customization
• Performance analysis, Troubleshooting and Tuning
• Database Installation and administration (Oracle/SQL Server)
• Webserver / Reverse proxy Web Application Server (Tomcat/Tomee)
• In depth knowledge of OS (Windows , Windows Server, Linux)
• Understanding of Data storage
• Basic Monitoring skills (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Cloud basics (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Qualifications/Experience
• Masters or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or MCA
• 5 to 10 Years of experience in 3DEXPERIENCE platform (or any other PLM solution)
Installation/Deployment e-Matrix/MatrixOne/Enovia/EXALEAD/3DExperience platform
installation/ upgrade / troubleshooting /support / PCS)
• Good / hands-on experience on Database, Application server / middleware
• Knowledge about Continuous Integration/deployment processes & tools (Git, SVN,
Jenkins, Sonarqube, Nexus etc.)
• Exposure to SSL, Load balancers (Software and Hardware), LDAP, Proxy server would be
a plus
• Good analytical/logical and communication skills
• Experience in software architecture, data migration, PCS and PLM concepts
