Role Description The YouTube Intern will support the growth and optimization of What the Gap’s YouTube presence in a full-time, hybrid role based in New Delhi. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with video production, coordinating shoot logistics, and capturing behind-the-scenes content. The intern will help edit episodes and short-form clips, design engaging thumbnails and titles, and upload content following YouTube best practices. They will monitor channel performance, analyze audience engagement, and suggest improvements to increase reach and retention. The role also involves collaborating with the hosts and team on content ideas, community interaction through comments, and basic marketing activities to promote episodes and special segments.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing for online content.
- Working knowledge of YouTube platform features, analytics, and content optimization.
- Effective Communication skills for collaborating with hosts, guests, and team members.
- Basic understanding of Marketing, especially digital and social media promotion.
- Familiarity with editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
- Ability to work hybrid in New Delhi and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative mindset, attention to detail, and interest in podcasts, pop culture, and social issues.
- Relevant coursework or prior internship experience in media, communications, or film is an advantage
