Role Description The Workday Integration Consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between Workday and external systems, ensuring accurate and timely data flow across HR, payroll, finance, and related platforms. This full-time, on-site position in Bengaluru involves working closely with internal stakeholders and client teams to understand business requirements, configure Workday integration tools, and troubleshoot technical issues. Daily tasks include mapping and transforming data, managing integration schedules, monitoring integration performance, and documenting technical specifications and processes. The role also includes collaborating with cross-functional teams, supporting testing and deployment activities, and providing guidance on integration best practices to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Workday and Workday Integration tools, with the ability to configure, test, and maintain Workday-based integrations.
- Hands-on experience in Integration design and development, including APIs, web services, and related middleware technologies.
- Practical knowledge of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) standards and protocols, especially for HR, payroll, and financial data exchange.
- Consulting skills, including requirements gathering, solution design, stakeholder communication, and client-facing support.
- Proficiency in data mapping, transformation, and troubleshooting, with attention to data quality and security.
- Experience with integration testing, deployment, and performance monitoring in enterprise environments.
- Ability to work effectively in on-site, cross-functional teams, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience as a Workday Integration Consultant or in a similar HRIS/ERP integration role is highly beneficial.
