Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP CO (Controlling) Consultant with strong hands-on experience in SAP CO processes, configuration, implementation, and support. The ideal candidate should have expertise across core CO modules and a good understanding of integration with other SAP functional areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Work hands-on with SAP CO configuration, implementation, and support activities.
- Configure and support Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and CO-PA.
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP CO solutions.
- Perform configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Support end users and provide functional guidance on SAP CO processes.
- Participate in implementation, rollout, enhancement, and production support projects.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between SAP CO and FI, MM, SD, and PP.
- Prepare functional specifications and documentation as required.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Analyze business process issues and recommend appropriate SAP solutions.
- Support continuous improvement and optimization of SAP CO processes.
Required Skills & Experience
- Hands-on experience in SAP CO.
- Strong expertise in:
- Cost Center Accounting
- Profit Center Accounting
- Internal Orders
- Product Costing
- CO-PA (Profitability Analysis)
- Experience in SAP implementation and support projects.
- Strong understanding of integration with SAP FI, MM, SD, and PP.
- Experience in requirement gathering, configuration, testing, and end-user support.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with SAP S/4HANA is preferred.
- Exposure to S/4HANA Finance/Controlling business processes will be an added advantage.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- SAP CO certification is an advantage.
