Job Description
We are seeking experienced
Workday Finance Consultants with a minimum of
3+ years of relevant experience in Workday Finance and strong functional knowledge across
Record-to-Report (R2R), Customer-to-Cash (C2C), and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes. The ideal candidate should have strong understanding of Workday Finance business processes and be capable of working independently across implementation, configuration, support, and enhancement activities. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders to understand requirements, configure solutions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure effective delivery of Workday Finance solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on Workday Finance implementation, configuration, support, and enhancement activities.
- Provide functional expertise across R2R, C2C, and O2C business processes.
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into effective Workday Finance solutions.
- Configure and maintain relevant Workday Finance business processes, workflows, and functional areas.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide appropriate functional solutions.
- Support testing activities including unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Troubleshoot functional issues and provide timely resolution for Workday Finance-related problems.
- Support data validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution across finance processes.
- Prepare functional documentation, process flows, test scenarios, and other project-related deliverables.
- Collaborate with technical and cross-functional teams for integrations, reporting, and other dependent Workday activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and recommend process enhancements.
- Work independently while effectively communicating with clients, stakeholders, and project teams
Requirements
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in Workday Finance.
- Strong functional experience in R2R, C2C, and O2C processes.
- Good understanding of Workday Finance business processes and configuration.
- Experience in requirements gathering, functional analysis, configuration, testing, and production support.
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting concepts.
- Experience working with business stakeholders and translating business requirements into Workday solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a project environment.
Preferred Skills
- Workday Finance certification will be an added advantage.
- Experience working across multiple Workday Finance modules/processes.
- Experience in Workday implementations, enhancements, or production support.
- Experience with Workday reporting and business process configuration.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum or similar project environments.
