Role Description The Senior Architect role is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The Senior Architect will lead architectural design from concept through detailed drawings, coordinate with engineering and construction teams, and ensure that designs meet client requirements, regulatory standards, and budget constraints. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing design proposals, overseeing integration of technical systems, reviewing and approving design documentation, and guiding junior team members. The role also involves managing project timelines, collaborating with stakeholders, conducting site visits, and providing technical and design leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Architecture and Architectural Design skills, including concept development, space planning, and detailed design documentation.
- Candidates should possess skills in Software Development and Integration relevant to modern architectural workflows, such as using design and BIM tools, and integrating digital solutions into project processes.
- Candidates should possess solid Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and stakeholder communication.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience in leading medium to large-scale architectural projects, preferably in an urban context.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and quality.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to mentor junior team members and work in a multidisciplinary environment.
