A leading international industrial engineering organization is seeking a seasoned engineering manager to oversee and drive multidisciplinary engineering activities across large-scale EPC projects worldwide.
This is a strategic leadership opportunity for a highly experienced professional with a strong background in complex industrial developments, capable of managing engineering execution from concept and FEED through detailed design, procurement support, construction, and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering Leadership
- Provide technical and managerial leadership to multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Ensure engineering activities are executed in accordance with project requirements, industry standards, and international regulations.
- Drive engineering excellence while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.
Project Execution & Delivery
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor engineering work to align with project schedules, budgets, and key milestones.
- Manage engineering resources, workload allocation, and technical priorities to support successful project delivery.
- Oversee the development, review, and approval of major engineering deliverables during all project phases.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with project management, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Support procurement activities through technical evaluations, vendor selection processes, and review of supplier documentation.
- Act as a key technical interface with clients, contractors, vendors, and other external stakeholders.
Technical Governance & Risk Management
- Lead design reviews, constructability studies, and technical risk assessments.
- Contribute to process safety reviews, including HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, and related assessments.
- Ensure compliance with engineering management processes, quality systems, and document control requirements.
Team Development
- Mentor and develop engineering talent within the organization.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Energy, or related discipline).
Master's degree and/or professional certifications in Engineering Management, Project
Management, or Business Administration are considered advantageous.
- PMP, PRINCE2, MBA, or equivalent certifications are highly valued.
Experience
18+ years of experience delivering complex industrial projects, preferably within the Energy, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Process Industries sectors.
Proven experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams in international project environments.
Strong understanding of EPC project execution, engineering management, and industrial facility development.
Demonstrated success in senior engineering leadership roles.
Technical Expertise
Experience with engineering and project execution software such as:
AutoCAD / AVEVA/ ANSYS
