JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a Lead Application Developer with 8–12 years of strong experience in application development, Python, GCP, API/microservices development, cloud-native applications, and distributed data processing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable cloud-native applications on GCP.
• Provide technical leadership and hands-on development using Python and Node.js.
• Design and develop enterprise-grade REST APIs and microservices.
• Lead Python-based API and batch-processing solutions.
• Architect and optimize data-processing workflows using Apache Airflow / Cloud Composer.
• Design and develop distributed processing solutions using Dataproc / Apache Spark.
• Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Cloud Run.
• Guide teams on architecture, coding standards, design patterns, and best practices.
• Design and optimize database solutions using Oracle and PL/SQL.
• Perform data transformation and processing using Pandas and Python.
• Maintain and modernize Perl-based solutions where required.
• Integrate applications with BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, and other GCP services.
• Lead application performance tuning, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure development and security standards.
• Mentor developers and provide technical guidance.
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps, QA, product teams, and business stakeholders.
