We are seeking a highly experienced Data & Analytics (D&A) Product Owner to lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of enterprise data platforms and analytics products. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS-native services, Databricks, and Snowflake, with a proven ability to translate business needs into scalable, data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for data and analytics platforms.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for data-driven decision-making and advanced analytics.
Drive the design and implementation of modern data platforms leveraging AWS, Databricks, and Snowflake.
Prioritize features and manage the product backlog using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Work closely with engineering, data science, and architecture teams to ensure successful delivery.
Ensure alignment of data products with enterprise data strategy, governance, and security standards.
Monitor product performance and adoption; drive continuous improvement.
Define KPIs and success metrics for data products and analytics initiatives.
Act as the primary liaison between business and technical teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
10+ years of experience in Data & Analytics, with 3–5 years as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
Strong hands-on understanding of AWS data ecosystem, including services such as:
Amazon S3, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda
Amazon Redshift, Amazon Athena
AWS Step Functions, EventBridge
Proven experience with:
Databricks (Delta Lake, Spark, notebooks, workflows)
Snowflake (data warehousing, data sharing, performance optimization)
Strong understanding of data architecture patterns lakehouse, data mesh, medallion architecture.
Experience in data ingestion, ETL/ELT pipelines, and real-time data processing.
Familiarity with BI and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
Qualifications :
Experience in Life Sciences / Pharma domain (R&D, clinical, or commercial analytics).
Exposure to AI/ML and GenAI use cases within data platforms.
Understanding of data governance, data quality, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GxP).
Experience with data cataloging and metadata management tools.
AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, Data Analytics Specialty).
