Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a junior Architect / Draughtsman based in Navi Mumbai. The role involves assisting in architectural design, preparing detailed drawings and CAD plans, and supporting the development of presentation drawings and 3D views. Daily tasks include translating design concepts into working drawings, updating project documentation, coordinating with senior team members, and ensuring accuracy in layouts, sections, and elevations. The junior Architect / Draughtsman will also help in preparing material specifications, basic quantity checks, and maintaining organized project files while adhering to timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess foundational skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, including an understanding of spatial planning and building systems.
- Candidates should possess basic Software Development and Integration awareness as it relates to architectural tools and workflows, such as integrating different design and documentation software.
- Candidates should possess Project Management-related skills, such as time management, task coordination, and the ability to follow structured processes and deadlines.
- Proficiency in architectural drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar), and familiarity with 3D visualization tools (e.g., SketchUp, Lumion) is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively with senior architects and project teams.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Basic knowledge of building regulations, materials, and construction practices is an advantage.
