Job description – Commis 3, Bakery
Position: Commis 3 – Bakery
Location: HSR Layout, Bangalore
Project: Pre-launch Café
Department: Bakery
Experience: 0–2 years preferred
Key responsibilities:
* Assist the bakery team in daily production and preparation.
* Follow recipes, portioning, and preparation methods as instructed by the senior chefs.
* Assist with weighing and measuring ingredients accurately.
* Support preparation of breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, and other bakery products as required.
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bakery section and equipment.
* Follow food safety, storage, and handling procedures.
* Ensure proper mise en place before production.
* Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing bakery ingredients.
* Follow instructions from the Chef de Partie and senior bakery team.
* Maintain discipline, teamwork, and a positive attitude during service and production.
Candidate profile:
* Basic knowledge of bakery operations.
* Willingness to learn and develop bakery skills.
* Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
* Team player with a positive and professional attitude.
* Freshers with relevant bakery training may also be considered.
