Design Engineer – Steel Structures
Location: Chennai

We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer – Steel Structures to join our engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Structural design and analysis of steel structures and construction equipment.
- Preparation and review of structural calculations and design reports.
- Develop and review STAAD.Pro models and analysis.
- Preparation of detailed AutoCAD drawings and fabrication drawings.
- Coordinate with fabrication, project and site teams to resolve design-related issues.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant Indian/International design codes and project requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil /Mechanical/ Structural Engineering.
- 5–10 years of relevant industry experience in structural design.
- Strong experience in STAAD.Pro and AutoCAD.
- Experience in steel structure design and detailing.
- Experience in construction/bridge equipment design such as launching girders, beam launchers, gantries, cranes, form travellers, etc. will be highly preferred.
- Good understanding of structural analysis, connections, stability and design of steel structures.
- Ability to independently handle design calculations and drawings.
Preferred: Candidates with hands-on experience in the design of heavy steel structures or construction equipment will be given preference.
