What This Role Owns
- Development of backend services, APIs, and core system logic
- Data handling, storage design, and system performance
- Reliability, scalability, and efficiency of backend systems

- Well-structured, maintainable backend code
- Scalable APIs and services supporting product features
- Optimized database queries and data models
- Stable systems with minimal downtime and strong performance
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend applications and services
- Design and implement RESTful APIs
- Work with databases to structure and manage data efficiently
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve system stability
- Collaborate with frontend, product, and engineering teams
- Participate in code reviews and maintain engineering standards
- Contribute to system design and architecture discussions
