Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Cost Estimator at KPA ENGINEERING PRIVATE LIMITED KOTTAMEDU. The Cost Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for engineering projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and overheads. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing project specifications and drawings, collecting and validating cost data, and preparing accurate budgets and forecasts. The role involves collaborating with project managers and engineering teams to review estimates, monitor cost performance, and recommend cost control measures. The Cost Estimator will also support bid preparation, update cost databases, and provide clear, data-driven reports to stakeholders to help guide decision-making.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Cost Management and Cost Control skills to develop and maintain accurate project cost structures.
- Candidates should possess solid Project Estimation and Budgeting skills to prepare detailed estimates and project budgets.
- Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, compare alternatives, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Proficiency with estimation software, spreadsheets, and general MS Office tools.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to work with complex datasets.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant experience in engineering, construction, or related project environments is preferred.
- Degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, finance, or a related field is beneficial.
