Role Description The Engineering Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mohpa, responsible for leading engineering activities that support restaurant operations and infrastructure. This role oversees the planning, execution, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and building systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient restaurant environments. The Engineering Manager coordinates with operations, facilities, and external vendors to schedule and monitor preventive maintenance, resolve technical issues, and manage upgrades or expansions. The role includes supervising engineering and maintenance teams, setting priorities, tracking performance metrics, and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The Engineering Manager also contributes to budget planning, cost optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives across the restaurant portfolio.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising engineering, maintenance, or facility teams.
- Solid background in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering, with hands-on experience in building systems and equipment maintenance.
- Proficiency in project planning and execution, including scheduling, resource allocation, and vendor management.
- Ability to implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs and reliability-focused improvements.
- Working knowledge of safety standards, regulatory compliance, and best practices in facilities and operations.
- Experience in multi-site or hospitality/restaurant environments is highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and cost control.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present technical information clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; advanced certifications in facilities management or maintenance are an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Mohpa and occasionally travel within the region as operational needs require.
