Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Logistics Analyst to join our operations team. In this role, you will analyze logistics data, optimize transportation and distribution processes, monitor inventory movement, and support supply chain efficiency. You will collaborate with procurement, warehouse, transportation, and operations teams to improve logistics performance while ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery of goods.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze logistics and transportation data to identify trends and improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor inventory movement, shipping performance, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare logistics reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Assist in optimizing transportation routes and distribution networks.
- Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, warehouses, and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality.
- Support inventory planning and demand forecasting activities.
- Maintain accurate logistics records, databases, and operational documentation.
- Assist in resolving shipping, transportation, and supply chain issues.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics performance.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or operations is an advantage but not required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) is a plus.
- Understanding of logistics operations, inventory management, and transportation processes.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good command of English; German language skills are a plus but not mandatory.
