About the Job
We are now looking for a business development engineer for the South India market who will engage with customers in the automotive, industrial, etc. segments and internal stakeholders to promote and design Amphenol PCD / Amphenol connectivity product solutions in new projects and win business orders from customers and create sales revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new customers and business opportunities and promote the Amphenol PCD / Amphenol catalogue and customized product solutions.
- Provide total solutions to customers with connectors, cable assemblies and design-in Amphenol PCD / Amphenol product connectivity solutions.
- Build, manage and grow a robust opportunity pipeline across existing and new customers.
- Partner with customer engineering and procurement teams to guide product selection decisions during development cycles.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
- Adaptive, fast learner, and never give-up attitude.
- Willing and able to travel within South India's major cities around 40% of the time to visit customers with a highly flexible schedule.
Requirements
- Engineering / Diploma / Any Degree
- Minimum 2 to 4 years of work experience in the marketing or business development or sales field in interconnect solutions, cable assemblies, electro-mechanical or electronics products in the automotive or industrial segment.
- Good at writing business e-mails and skilled in MS Office.
- Excellence in English in writing & speaking. Also, speaking any South Indian languages will be an added advantage.
