Location: HO (Lower Parel ) & Factory (Vasai)

Reporting to: Director / Business Head / Operations Head
Salary: 6 to 7 LPA
Working days: Monday to Saturday (1 SAT off after 8 months of probation)
Work timings: 10 AM to 6:30 PM

Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented NPD cum Purchase Manager to oversee new product development (NPD) initiatives while managing end-to-end procurement operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in sourcing, vendor management, cost negotiation, and product innovation — ensuring timely product launches with cost efficiency and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:
New Product Development (NPD):
• Collaborate with R&D, Marketing, and Production teams to conceptualize and develop new products.
• Drive packaging development activities for existing, ongoing, and new product launches.
• Identify and develop new packaging materials and suppliers aligned with product and brand requirements.
• Coordinate with designers and packaging vendors for artwork development and approvals.
• Ensure all regulatory, safety, and quality compliances are met for new products.
• Maintain NPD tracker to monitor project timelines and deliverables.
Purchase & Procurement:
• Handle procurement of packaging materials and other supplies as per production requirements.
• Develop and maintain a robust vendor base; ensure timely purchase and delivery.
• Negotiate with suppliers for best pricing, credit terms, and quality assurance.
• Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving and process improvement opportunities.
• Maintain accurate purchase records and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Coordinate with finance and stores for vendor payments, GRN, and stock management.

Requirements:
• Graduate / Post Graduate (preferably in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field).
• 5–10 years of experience in NPD and Purchase, preferably in FMCG / Cosmetics / Manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials, formulations, and vendor development.
• Excellent negotiation, coordination, and project management skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
