We are hiring a Head – Technical / Designated Person Ashore (DPA) to lead the Technical Department, oversee fleet technical operations, ensure compliance with international maritime regulations, and drive the company's Safety Management System (SMS) as the Designated Person Ashore.
Key Responsibilitie
- sLead the Technical Department and drive fleet technical strategy and operational excellence
- .Oversee vessel maintenance, repairs, dry-docking, technical inspections, and planned maintenance systems (PMS)
- .Ensure compliance with Class, Flag State, IMO regulations, and company policies
- .Perform the role of Designated Person Ashore (DPA) and ensure effective implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS)
- .Lead incident investigations, implement corrective actions, and promote a strong safety culture
- .Manage technical records, vessel certifications, audits, and statutory compliance
- .Mentor and lead shore-based and onboard technical teams
- .Prepare technical reports, budgets, fleet performance analyses, and management presentations
.Looking Fo
- Chief Engineer (Class I COC) with extensive sailing and shore-based technical management experience
- .Proven leadership experience in managing technical operations and multidisciplinary teams
- .Strong knowledge of ISM Code, SMS, Class, Flag State, and international maritime regulations
- .Experience in vessel maintenance, dry-docking, technical audits, and fleet performance management
- .Strong incident investigation, risk management, and compliance expertise
- .Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills
